About Snake
Snake is one of the earliest arcade games, dating back to the late 1970s. It became a cultural icon when Nokia pre-installed it on their phones in 1998. The rules are dead simple — move, eat, grow, don't crash — but the challenge scales beautifully as your snake gets longer and the available space shrinks.
This version uses a 20x20 grid with smooth rendering on an HTML5 canvas. Your high score is saved locally, so you can keep trying to beat it. Works with keyboard or touch swipes.
